About Lisa
Born and raised in South Texas, I have always gravitated to jobs in the service industry. After getting married and raising my family, I started a real estate career as a Realtor. Once my kids were on the go all the time and I needed a more balanced schedule, I moved into the education field. I worked 15 years in the Head Start Program servicing families when their little ones were starting their educational process. I also worked 7 years as a substitute teacher.
Once my husband retired, I retired as well. We then stepped into the role of traveling when we want. When we aren’t traveling, we’re hanging out with one of our 4 grandkids.
My first cruise was in 2006 on Royal Caribbean’s Splendour of the Seas. That started my love for cruises, the deep blue water, and exploring different ports. The highlight of my cruising life so far has been 16 nights traveling through the Panama Canal.
